In addition to the other skincare procedures, we offer laser treatments for Skincare, Hair Reduction, Skin Tightening, Facial Veins, Hyper-pigmentation and Collagen renewal which are very successful, with little discomfort and only some temporary redness. Most of the treatments require multiple sessions. Optimal results occur when laser treatments are preceded with Vibradermabrasion and/or chemical peel allowing for deepest laser penetration of skin and the NeoLTS LED Light Therapy after to speed recovery and improve results.
The Pulsed Dye Laser, or PDL uses a concentrated beam of light that targets blood vessels in the skin. The light is converted into heat, destroying the blood vessel while leaving the surrounding skin undamaged. The laser uses yellow light, which is very safe and does not result in any long-term skin damage. is often used to improve skin that is sun damaged, has redness or broken capillaries (including in Rosacea treatment). It is also used for neck redness and flushing, treatment of acne rosacea and is effective in treating the face, neck, décolletage and backs of the hands. PDL treatments usually take only a few minutes and are performed during an outpatient clinic visit. No anesthesia is required. Most patients usually need between 1-3 treatments. Patients with port wine stains, hemangiomas and extensive rosacea may need more treatments. Improving the appearance of red scars, hypertrophic scars or keloids may take a variable number of treatments. As with any other treatment, incomplete response or recurrence may occur. PDL can also be utilized for hair removal.
GentleYAG® Laser treatment is a minimally invasive, non-surgical process that tightens the skin by transferring heat to the deepest layers of the skin. This process then causes stimulation of collage production which in turn causes the skin to contract (tighten). By activating enough of your own collagen source, wrinkles and sagging skin can diminish within weeks after the treatment. Laser skin tightening is a series of laser treatments, using the GentleYAG laser, designed to stimulate dermal collagen production and regeneration of damaged skin cells. Increased turnover of skin cells is also stimulated, helping to regenerate and replace damaged cells.
Three to four treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart in most cases will produce a significant increase in dermal collagen and a resulting improvement in overall skin tone and vitality.
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) Photorejuvenation or “photofacial”, as it is commonly called, is a non-invasive procedure that uses Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) to erase signs of aging from the face, neck, chest, arms, hands, and other areas. IPL photorejuvenation is a light based treatment that treats many conditions at the same time. It works wonders for removing uneven pigmentation: red spots, brown spots, and scarring, as well as reducing pore size, eliminating and reducing wrinkles, and improving overall skin texture, smoothness and quality. A fairly quick, easily tolerated treatment giving long lasting results, with no social downtime. A mild, windburn/sunburn effect can be felt in 24-48hrs post, with results visible after the 1st treatment. It is an in-office procedure personally performed by Sharon Heinmen, certified laser technician. A treatment program typically includes one to four sessions.
